Lily's Story

During her initial visit with Life Forward, Lily* shared that she was overwhelmed by her pregnancy. As she embraced the challenges of welcoming new life, she had experienced two major losses in the past year and was working through the pain of losing her mother and brother. Lily shared with a client educator that she felt angry with God for the premature death of her brother. Despite this, she expressed a renewed sense of faith and welcomed prayers from the staff to help her navigate her grief. 

In subsequent conversations, as she voiced her fears and aspirations, Lily remained resolutely focused on moving forward and creating the best possible future for her children while working through her emotional pain.
