Marketing & Communications Director

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Marketing & Communications Director is a pivotal role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to elevate the organization's mission, brand, and client supporting programs. This full time, on-site, non-exempt role involves overseeing all marketing efforts and enhancing our digital presence to engage and inspire donors, volunteers, and the communities we serve. The role works closely with the Executive Director and Development Director to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with Life Forward's brand.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that aligns with Life Forward's mission, vision, and objectives.

  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance Life Forward's brand identity through consistent messaging across all channels, ensuring it reflects the organization's values and mission.

  • Content Creation: Through vendors and volunteers, oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing collateral for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, development events and client health information.

  • Digital Marketing: With the help of a paid vendor, lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, email marketing, social media campaigns, and online fundraising initiatives to increase visibility and engagement.

  • Event Promotion: Coordinate marketing efforts for fundraising events, community outreach programs, and other special initiatives, ensuring maximum participation and media coverage.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results. Provide regular reports to stakeholders on key metrics and insights.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve strategic goals.

  • Ministry: Be able and willing to participate in routine staff meetings and prayer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the nonprofit sector.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector, particularly in roles related to social causes or community development.

  • Familiarity with donor management software and fundraising platforms.

  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.

  • Knowledge of graphic design software and video editing tools.

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.

NURSE Sonographer or RDMS

$25-$30 per hour, negotiable and commensurate with experience

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION 

Exempt, full time (32-40 hours per week) OR non-exempt part-time, 16-24 hours per week and reports to the Director of Client Services. Primarily responsible for providing limited obstetrical ultrasound scans for Life Forward per written policies and procedures and will assist the Client Services Director with the ultrasound program.  Provide client consultations and education as well as assisting the Center Director(s) to manage the Center(s)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Perform 3D/4D limited obstetrical ultrasound for clients after completing paid training program provided by Life Forward

  • Utilize charting and client record software for each client interaction

  • Assist with client advocacy through case management with a specific concentration on clients who meet the relevant established policies to receive a limited obstetrical ultrasound

  • Perform basic medical procedures consistent with level of certification. This may include limited obstetrical ultrasound, blood draw and urine based STI testing.

  • Assist with the supervision and training of center volunteers

  • Assist with managing the facilitation and administration of parenting programs

  • Assist with supervision of the facility maintenance

  • Maintain and monitor the statistics according to current procedures

  • Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with clients, employees, volunteers and supporters

  • Assist with special event planning, ministry initiatives and programs as needed

  • Represent and network with other ministries and agencies within Life Forward’s service area

  • Participate in appropriate training, routine staff meetings and prayer

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Registered Nurse with current state of Ohio license in good standing or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in good standing with successful completion of ARDMS registry exam  

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team 

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse people groups 

  • Ability to manage programs and/or projects 

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple Products including MAC and IPAD

  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information 

  • Ability and willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekend days

  • Ability to travel occasionally to other center or ministry partner locations

  • Demonstrated authentic Christian faith and comfortable with small group prayer and Bible study

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • RN with OB experience/completion of limited obstetrical course and competencies or RDMS with experience performing obstetrical ultrasound 

  • Experience working for a non-profit organization and/or Christian ministry 

  • Experience working for a pregnancy medical clinic

Client Educator

$15-$22 per hour, with additional benefits offered

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION 

Exempt, full-time, 32-40 hours per week and reports to the Assistant Director of Client Services. Compensation is based on experience and ability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Consults with Life Forward clients and helps advocate for client needs

  • Maintains record of client interactions on client database software

  • Follow up with clients via phone, text, email, and/or video call to continue support efforts

  • Contributes to the supervision and training of center volunteers

  • Manage the facilitation and administration of client parenting programs

  • Contributes to efforts to maintain clean and ordered workspace

  • Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with clients, employees, volunteers and supporters

  • Assist with special event planning, ministry initiatives and programs as needed and requested by supervisor

  • Represent and network with other ministries and agencies

  • Participate in routine staff meetings and prayer

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, in particular in-person, via phone, and email

  • Must be available and willing to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekend days

  • Must be available and willing to manage Thursday evening parenting classes (approximately 20-30 evenings each year)

practice manager

Annual Salary $45k-$60k, negotiable and commensurate with experience

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Exempt, full-time, 40 hours per week and reports to the Nurse Director. The Practice Manager is a member of the client services team and is able execute support efforts for Life Forward’s medical practice.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all administrative aspects of a medical facility including supplies, special projects, and clinic procedures

  • Responsible for auditing clinic operations, establishing a budget, organizing clinical records, scheduling, and ensuring regulatory compliance

  • Leads research, planning and launch of new or additional Life Forward services

  • Supports the engagement in community awareness of Life Forward’s no-charge services to women, including with other ministries and agencies

  • Contributes to efforts to maintain clean and ordered workspace

  • Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with clients, employees, volunteers and supporters

  • Assist with special event planning, ministry initiatives and programs as needed and requested by supervisor

  • Participate in routine staff meetings and prayer
