Robert and Emma's Story

"Emma" was undecided and considering abortion when she and her boyfriend "Robert" first met with Lawanda, Life Forward's Clifton Center Director. At the end of their time together, Lawanda prayed with them and gave them a Bible.

Several weeks later, Robert and Emma called Lawanda to ask for prayer and to schedule another appointment. During their second session, Robert began to confess and repent of sin. He asked to be connected with a mentor which Lawanda helped facilitate. They also wanted to begin Bible study.

In her first Bible study session, Emma shared some of her life's challenges. Lawanda offered her forgiveness and shared the Gospel. In response, Emma prayed and accepted Christ as her Savior. Lawanda continues to meet with Emma offering both her and Robert encouragement, support and love.
