Crystal's Story

It seemed like I couldn’t catch a break. I was still grieving the loss of my Dad when I first visited Life Forward. I was now finding out I was pregnant. I knew that I would have no support from the father of my baby. I remember staring at the image on the ultrasound screen and feeling numb. I was alone, scared and filled with anger.

Thankfully, the staff at Life Forward didn’t give up on me. They followed up with me and encouraged me every step of the way. They really cared about me and my baby.

A week before my baby was born, I visited Life Forward again to get some basic supplies that I otherwise could not have afforded. They had everything I needed for my son including a tub and a crib.

This has been a really hard time of life for me. I still face a lot of challenges as a single mom. But, knowing that Life Forward is just a phone call away reminds me that I am not alone and gives me hope for my future.
