Gabrielle's Story

POSITIVE - This was not the pregnancy test result that “Gabrielle” expected or hoped for when she first visited Life Forward a year ago. Her plans included finishing high school and then attending college. She thought the best way to get back on track and fulfill her dreams was to end her pregnancy.

The staff at Life Forward listened to Gabrielle’s story and encouraged her to consider all of her life-affirming options. They prayed with her, gave her a Bible and invited her to trust in God and lean not on her own understanding.

Recently, Gabrielle stopped by Life Forward’s Clifton location with her beautiful baby boy. With tears of joy in her eyes, she shared how she had completed her GED and plans to continue her education. She told the staff that she still uses the Bible they gave her and that her faith has helped her through some very rough times.
