Jenna's Story

“Jenna” first came to Life Forward’s Springdale location for a pregnancy test and ultrasound.  At that time, she was unsure about what she wanted to do. Some of her family and friends were telling her to have an abortion.  After the ultrasound, Jenna said,  “This is my baby and I am going to be her mom!”

After her daughter was born, Jenna came back to Life Forward for a care closet visit.  The baby needed therapy after birth and the therapist had recommended using a nursing pillow at home to help.  Jenna wasn’t able to afford one.  On the same day that Jenna returned, Life Forward received a large donation of nursing pillows. As Jenna left Life Forward with her new nursing pillow, she expressed gratitude and said the care closet visit had provided her with exactly what she needed at that time.
