Kathryn's Story

“Kathryn” walked through the door of Life Forward’s Clifton location determined to end her baby’s life. She just wanted to find out how far along her pregnancy was so that she could take the abortion pill. What happened next changed everything for the future of this overwhelmed young woman and her baby.

Hannah, Life Forward’s Sonographer, performed a 3D/4D ultrasound enabling Kathryn to see and hear the tiny gift of life taking shape inside her. All of a sudden, her baby was real. Taking a pill to get rid of what she first thought of as a problem didn’t  seem to make sense any more as her child moved across the screen right before her eyes.

Spiritually, Kathryn was searching and said she was looking at different religions. Hannah shared with her the promise and hope found only in Jesus Christ and invited her into a relationship with Him. After Hannah prayed with her, Kathryn walked out of the building with ultrasound photos of her baby in hand and much on her mind to consider.

When Hannah called to follow up, Kathryn shared that she’d made a prenatal care appointment.  She also received a job offer that seemed to fit her strengths. Kathryn could now see how God was providing for her and her baby.
