ZURI’S STORY

Zuri* first visited Life Forward during a past pregnancy and remembered how the team welcomed her. When she recently found herself pregnant again—uncertain and overwhelmed—she returned to Life Forward, seeking the support she knew she could trust.

Zuri shared her fears about becoming a single mother of two. Even while listing all her concerns, she kept returning to one quiet refrain: “I just think I want to keep the baby.”

She had recently returned to church and began sensing that God might be leading her to choose life. Zuri had an appointment scheduled for the following morning to end her pregnancy. After her ultrasound at Life Forward, Zuri smiled and said, “I think I’m going to cancel my appointment.” She left feeling hopeful, having accepted support for parenting and adoption—and expressed deep gratitude for prayer, saying, “I really needed that.”
