Jenna's Story

Jenna* came to Life Forward for an ultrasound and cried the moment the door to the consultation room closed. She shared about her pregnancy symptoms, history of a miscarriage, and lack of support from the father of the baby. Although she planned to keep the baby, she was carrying a great deal of mental and emotional weight.  

 Burdened with doubt and fear, Jenna was encouraged by her Client Educator to look to Jesus. Although she believed she was a Christian, Jenna was surprised to hear that people cannot get to Heaven without Jesus. Jenna desired to live her life for God and received both a Children’s Bible and an adult Bible.  

 Weeks later, Jenna shared with her Client Educator that she was losing her current housing situation. She found a temporary home with relatives, but it was going to be difficult. Jenna gratefully accepted Life Forward’s request to send a care package for her 3rd trimester because she said hadn’t “felt cared for lately.”  

 When Jenna received the care package, she reached out to say, “I appreciate Life Forward so much. I just received your package and I’m in tears reading the note alone….  Thank you for being here with me through all of this. You all are so amazing. I have no idea what I’d do without Life Forward.”
